Nigerian-American power forward Ekpe Udoh (208-87, college: Baylor) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. International point guard Bobby Dixon (178-83, college: Troy, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. American guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) replied with 21 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Will Clyburn (201-90, college: Iowa St.) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Darussafaka. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
