Rasid Mahalbasic joins Fenerbahce Ulker

Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul agreed terms with 20-year old Slovenian-Austrian power forward Rasid Mahalbasic (210-F/C-90). Mahalbasic played most recently at Bosna ASA BH Telecom Sarajevo (Bosnia). While playing DNP, in Oct.09 moved back to kelag Worthersee Piraten (Austria-A Bundesliga, starting five) for Bosna S. last season he recorded 27 games: 18.4ppg, 8.6rpg (2nd best in the league), 1.1apg and in Feb.10 tryout at Montepaschi Siena (Italy-Serie A).

At the Qualifications to European Championships Division B he averaged 15.3ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.0apg, FGP-2 (76.0%), FT: 53.3% in 3games with Austrian National Team.
