All-Decade Nominee: Kostas Sloukas

Splitting the 2010s evenly between Turkish Airlines EuroLeague powerhouses Olympiacos Piraeus and Fenerbahce Istanbul, point guard Kostas Sloukas has proven himself to be a born winner. Sloukas, who won't turn 30 until January 15, has won three EuroLeague titles – the second-highest total of the decade – while appearing in six EuroLeague Championship Games, just one below the record belonging to Matjaz Smodis.

Sloukas started his EuroLeague career with Olympiacos in the 2009-10 season and soon played a pivotal role off the bench as the Reds became the decade's only back-to-back EuroLeague champion, in 2012 and 2013. He also played in a third championship game with Olympiacos, in 2015, before signing with Fenerbahce as the team's principal playmaker. Together, he and Fenerbahce have reached five consecutive Final Fours and three championship games, in 2016, 2017 – when Sloukas lifted the trophy for the third time – and 2018.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS
EuroLeague Champion 2012, 2013, 2017
All-EuroLeague First Team 2018-19
EuroLeague finalist 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018
When games are on the line is when Sloukas is at his best. His 88.5% free throw accuracy ranks second for the decade, and he has made more foul shots than all but 10 other players during that time. A deadly shooter, prolific passer and ice-cold clutch performer, Sloukas has done it all in his 20s. He has plenty of time and competitiveness left to accomplish even more.
